News: Knoxville Picks Prank Contest Honorable Mentions

Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass boys have finally returned from their whirlwind world tour promoting Jackass 3D. Along with their return comes the long-awaited Honorable Mentions for the Jackass 3D Prank Contest. So, straight from the source, a note from Knoxville:

As you know Grayson Robison's Operation In Real Life took top honors, but there were some damned fantastic entries. It is very tough for someone outside our immediate group to write ideas that I or we like. Many have tried and most all have failed. But the WonderHowTo submissions were seriously inspired and had me chuckling out loud. Bravo everybody, bravo. I was so taken by your efforts I put together an Honorable Mention list to say great f-ing job and thanks. Below are my picks in no specific order. Sincerely and wahoo, johnny knoxville

JELLO BAM'S LAMBO- ha ha ha.....this idea is so funny i now feel obligated to do it !! sorry bam and thank you sara thompson 

GOAT TUG OF WAR- the idea itself is decent but the drawing is perfect . it's so crudely rendered it looks like i drew it . but i didn't ,that credit goes to rein sander ibson lilleaas.

BMX MAZE OF DESTRUCTION- i wished we would have filmed this for jackass 3D. way to go jeff english.

TRAVIS BARKER KICK DRUM WARM UP- we would prolly tweak this idea just a little but it's still pretty great as is . and the david m. fiechuk drawing is epic.

HUMAN BIRDS- this bit has dave england written all over it . due to his insistence he is the only one among the cast that can produce poo . others can work with it ,but he is the only one can do it on screen . this jackass worthy idea is from jake delacruz .

FALLING SKY AND ROOM DIVING- i like both of these ideas because Jackass director jeff Tremaine would say they cannot be done . i would reply that they could . we would fight on and off for a couple of weeks and he would go ,"fine we can try them,but they won't work ." then we would shoot them and they would be hilarious . afterwhich jeff would walk up to me and say ," you were right ,that was fucking funny." in tremaine's defense i have done the same thing to him about his ideas before .all that aside ryan planck has a rad mind and seems like a bit of nut . well done.

FAT MENTOS SUIT -we would have to shoot this one over water cuz it would kill poor preston over land . i had actually wanted to build a huge bottle of diet coke for Jackass 3d ,but i didnt think of dressing preston in a mentos suit . kudos to ryan keagan ,this idea is inspired and cartoony as hell. great job.
